My passion for youth leadership and workforce development started in an unexpected place — a summer job during the Great Recession. What I thought would be temporary turned into a lifelong calling to help young people discover their purpose, build confidence, and step boldly into their future.
I’m a youth development strategist, executive leader, and public policy scholar with over 15 years of experience working alongside schools, nonprofits, Extension programs, and community organizations. My work is rooted in one simple belief: when young people are supported, seen, and empowered, they rise.
From leading statewide leadership programs with Clemson University’s 4-H Pinckney Leadership Program to building partnerships that expand access to opportunity, I focus on creating spaces where young people can grow into confident, values-driven leaders. I also love working with the adults who serve them — helping organizations strengthen their programs, sharpen their vision, and turn passion into real, measurable impact.
Storytelling is a big part of how I show up. I use it to uplift youth voices, strengthen connections, and remind people why this work matters. Every young person has a story, and when they feel heard, they show up differently — with courage, clarity, and confidence.
I’m proud to serve as Board Chair of Bel-Aire Community Partners of Greenville, a Greenville County Extension Advisory Council member, and a contributor to national youth development efforts. I earned my degrees from South Carolina State University and the University of Nebraska Omaha, and I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Policy focused on youth workforce development.
As a former congressional page for the late Senator Clementa Pinckney, I carry his legacy with me —
working every day to help the next generation lead with purpose, heart, and impact.
Quick Facts about Me

I believe some of the most important leadership lessons don’t happen in classrooms, they happen in real conversations. That’s why I create space for both.

If you spend enough time around me, you’ll hear a story, a lesson, and probably a little laughter all in the same moment. That’s just how I show up.
Early mornings, a good conversation, and a strong cup of coffee—that’s my kind of reset. It’s usually where my best ideas and reflections begin.

There’s almost always a playlist setting the tone for my day. Music helps me stay grounded, focused, and connected to whatever moment I’m in.
